All is well , picked up some corn today , as well as new batteries for the trail cam . Headin out to the property tomorow to fill feeders , set camera , check tracks etc. Havent had a chance to do any hunting yet . Been busy with family and friends .

Good morning all . I made the trip home safe . Had a good ride until I got to Kansas City . Had snow from there home . I got in late lastnite . We have around 6-8 inches of fresh snow on the ground this morning .
Think Im gonna try to get out to the woods this evening or tomorow in search of some 'yote huntin .

So while I was driving home , I was reflecting upon the last couple days . Me and some friends went out Thursday night to send me off . Naturally we were shootin pool at the local 'Pool hall' havin a few cold adult beverages . So , after a long night , and a short amount of sleep , I awake with a 'bad head' and comince to pack my truck and head for the house . While driving I keep thinking of a dream I was having . Seems me and our Lord Jesus Christ himself were walking through the woods in the snow hunting . At one point we stop and I lean against a tree to enjoy the view and peacefulness . I happen to notice that there is only one set of boot prints in the snow . I ask Jesus , 'I thought you had told me you would stand by me and walk with me throughout this hunt?' With a suprised look on his face , Jesus replies , 'Young William , I did , where you only see one set of boot prints , that is where you passed out and I had to carry you ..' . As he turns to walk away with a grin on his face , he twists off another top and says ' That is why you have a bad head , I dont like to carry anybody '

Off work and packing my things . I will be leaving Utah early in the a.m. . Hope to do ok with travel , however there is a storm on its way into Missouri . I should be home before the sun comes up Saturday . With any luck , I can make it to the property to do some coyote hunting in the fresh snow .

Another evening in Utah , making travel plans to go home . Waiting to see what the weather is doing . Have alot of plans to make for the upcoming season . Looking for hunting partners and a video crew ... any offers ??

Been a busy week already ,
Plans are being made for my trip home . Plan on making a stop in Oklahoma at an outfitters ( www.nomercyhunting.com ) . Spend a couple days at home then travel south to Arkansas to meet with another outfitter ( www.wranglerupoutfitters.com ) . Have to meet with a couple business partners in Missouri ( www.double-backarchery.com / www.commandthewild.com ) .
Ive been busy making plans for spring season hunts . Working out the details .

2010 is shaping into one of the better years I have had in awhile . Life is so much more peaceful and rewarding when you take control of it .

Located a couple different video cameras yesterday to consider for my hunts . Also found a nice Resistol I want .
Talked with a few friends yesterday to line out a few of my spring 'thunder chicken' hunts . ( Arkansas , Nebraska , South Dakota , Oklahoma ) Going to be a busy spring season . Also spoke with an outfitter buddy about a position as a guide (part-time) , looks promising .

Up and at'm , going to travel around today to look at and compare some video cameras . Looking to get one for my hunting trips . Not exactly sure where to start or what I need . If anybody has any input , please let me know .
Congrats to my buddy Jason Hurst in Kansas , he spent the night with his wife at the Colt Ford concert and afterwards hangin out on the tour bus . 'Way to go Jason' and Colt 'Thought you had bettertaste than that' .... just kidding ya'll . If anybody knows either of these guys , you couldnt ask for better people . Hope to see you both this summer in July at the property for the hogroast and concert by Cody Rosier .

Had a good evening today . Working out some details for the NWTF convention in Nashville this February . Also got some good news , I am working with a few different outfitters for spring turkey hunts in Oklaoma , Arkansas , Nebraska , and South Dakota . These hunts will be filmed and possibly make video for fall release . Keep an eye out for updates on info .

A normal day in Utah for this time of year . Cold and flurries today , colder tonite with a chance of snow . Calling for 16-18 inches of fresh snow by the weekend .

You have to love the weather in Utah . Cold and snow yesterday morning , turning to rain lastnite with temps in the high 30's . Woke up this morning with rain/snow mix . Managed to slide off the road near work this morning narely missing a concrete culvert , stop sign , and a fence . Took awhile to get out of the field and back on the road ( alot of shoveling was involved ) . I did have another hand stop in is chevy to pull me out , however that just wasnt in the cards . I did manage to free myself and get my truck out . Only , to have another hand slide into my truck in the parking lot . No real damage to m truck that I can see , not sure about the mechanical front end aspect of it . Im not sure if I am supposed to take this as a omen to get rid of the dodge , or be glad Ive got it . It has been through alot in its days with me . Hate to part ways with it . What to do ..??..

Monday , what a day . It is now over and I am fixin to relax .

Hey everybody , hope all are doin well. Im doing good , still in Utah . I should be here for a few more weeks before heading home .
I took a drive yesterday , through the Cache Valley outside of Logan , Utah . There are plenty of sites to see as you wind through the canyons . Alot of wildlife , the cache valley is home to mule deer , elk , moose , and many others . I did see a herd of elk , along with several turkey and a bald eagle .
If you ever get out this way , its worth the trip to ride through the mountains and enjoy what Utah has to offer .

Hope everyone had a good weekend . Im still working out plans for the summer bash / grand opening of the Archery range at the property thi summer . Should be a good time with good music and good food . The Cody Rosier Band are excited about the trip up from Texas and we are working out the details for a cook . Not sure on a menu yet , will include a whole hog for sure . Look for updates posted at a later date .

Hello everybody , hope you all had a good day . I got off work a little early to take some time and work out some upcoming business details . Things are shaping up well for the upcoming year .
Look for me to be doing some work with Mossy Oak , Browning , Rutwear , Command The Wild , Hunters Helping Soldiers , as well as PSE , Athens Archery , Dead Center Archery , and of course ( our personal venture ) Doule-Back Archery . Ive got alot going on with alot of hopeful ventures for the new year . This is a short list , and not very discriptive of up and coming ventures . As details emerge , I will post and keep all informed .
For those that are local to me , dont forget about the February 5th banquet of the Rogersville Strutters and the NWTF . Also , we have the upcoming show in July with guest The Cody Rosier Band . Good morning everybody , hope evreybody is well and enjoying the weekend . I took a ride yesterday and drove out to Antelope Island . Very nice drive and got to see alot of wildlife . I took some pictures and will be adding some to the site soon . I seen a few coyotes , a bald eagle feeding , and a small herd of buffalo . The island has a couple nice campgrounds with modern convenience of firepits , picnic tables , showers , restrooms . The island is also horse friendly with plenty of trails for walking or riding . So if you ever get to Utah , I recommend you visit Antelope Island . About 45 minutes north of Salt Lake City .
