And the return of NASCAR … Daytona , Florida has been the Host of Speed Weeks since mid month.
With the running of ‘The Great American Race’ the Daytona 500 taking place yesterday.
After a Record Long rain delay (6 Hours and 22 Minutes) , NASCAR was finally able to get the race in.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. took the Checkered Flag for his Second Daytona 500 Victory.
I am packing today as I prepare to head South myself …

Welcome to Friday …
I have had a slight change in plans for this weekend. Rather then travel to Oklahoma for the Hog Hunt, I will be attending the Indiana Whitetail, Turkey, Waterfowl Expo in Indianapolis tomorrow.
Departing early next week for the Arkansas Snow Goose hunt, followed by the Texas Hog / Predator hunt.
Depending on travel times , etc. , May try to squeeze in the Oklahoma hunt on my return trip. I will keep you all posted.

Be looking for updates as I plan to travel over the next few days for a Hog Hunt in Oklahoma. I will be stopping in the Springfield , Missouri BASS PRO as well as the Oklahoma City , Oklahoma BASS PRO.
It is a sad day in the Outdoor Industry as the news spreads of the passing of CABELA’s Co-Founder Richard Cabela. He passed away yesterday at his home in Sidney , Nebraska. He was a definite Icon in the Outdoor Sporting Industry.

Still feeling sick , But working on some upcoming travel plans for the week. I have been invited down to Oklahoma for a Hog Hunt in the next few days.
Ill be posting some updates as available.
Hoping to make the trip quick as I am wanting to try and attend the upcoming Deer / Turkey / Waterfowl Expo in Indianapolis , Indiana next weekend.
There is also a Deer / Turkey Expo in Springfield , Illinois the same weekend. Keep an eye out for updates , Be nice to meet some of you along the way.
The week is winding down as I prepare to head to Nashville. Ill be in attendance at the NWTF Convention this weekend. Hope to see some of you there …

Update on our Season …
No luck lately in the coyote hunting. Weather has been extremely cold with high winds and snow, snow and more snow … lol.
Plans have been made for a Arkansas Snow Goose hunt in a couple weeks, followed with a Texas Predator / Hog hunt. Ill be sharing details / updates as they approach.
I will be heading to Nashville on Saturday this week to meet up with Twyla. We will both be attending the NWTF Convention over the weekend. If you are attending the event, be sure to look for us.
