In an update to my fall hunting season, Today the results were posted for Florida Alligator. I was ‘Successful’ in getting drawn. Looks like Ill be heading to Florida the end of August to pursue me a giant dinosaur

My season is starting to shape up already. .

A big ‘Congratulations’ this morning to Jimmie Johnson for winning the Sprint NASCAR All Star Race last night. He and his ‘over the wall’ crew pretty much dominated the events of the week. His Pit Crew won earlier in the week in The Pit Crew Challenge.

It has been a busy week already in the Charlotte area, with another week of racing to go.

I hope your weekend is going well thus far. I just got off work for the day. It is extremely warm here in Wisconsin.

I'm getting cleaned up and relaxed, ready to watch the NASCAR All Star Race this evening. should be a good show from North Carolina.

Ive got a few of my hunts lined up for fall. Looks like my season is set to start mid September in Missouri. Ive got a couple other floater hunts Im waiting to hear about. If one of those comes through, I may be starting a little sooner.

Next Friday, May 25th , the draw results will be posted for Florida Alligator Tags. Ive got my fingers crossed and am hoping for the best.

I hope you survived your ‘Hump Day’ ok.

I am sorry for the delay in posts. I've been on the road travelling a lot over the past week, as well as working.

I spent the weekend in Ohio, then traveled on Monday to Illinois for a short one day job. When we wrapped that up yesterday evening, I travelled to Madison , Wisconsin for a job in the area. I will be here in Madison for several weeks, possibly longer.

Fall hunting plans are coming together. I've had to cancel a couple hunts, however they weren't on my original schedule that I had posted earlier. They were a couple ‘possible’ hunts that I can always take advantage of next season.

Ill be posting more details soon as to my fall hunt plans. As well as a couple possible openings for people to join me this fall.

I spent the evening with my family watching the Darlington NASCAR race. Was hoping for a better finish for Tony Stewart, but we’ll take the 3rd.

I have some updates to my fall hunt schedule to date. It appears I will be travelling to Washington State, Oklahoma and New Mexico. I have a floating trip/hunt for North Carolina, as well as I am waiting on the draw for Florida.

With all good luck, I'm hoping for a successful and fun filled fall hunting season. I will initially start my season here in Missouri for opening archery, then begin my trip travelling west.

We have another fun filled busy schedule to partake in over the next couple days. Me and my son have a Boy Scout campout this evening filled with games, ceremonies, fun.

I will be in Springfield this morning for awhile visiting with friend Ritchie Keller (Owner/Driver of the Spur Chaser Racing buggy, Ultra 4 Racing series). Ritchie has the buggy in Springfield, Missouri at the fairgrounds for the 4Wheel Jamboree today.

I hope all is well for everyone thus far this week.

Ive been out in the turkey woods a few times in the last week with no luck. Birds are doin there thing without any help to me … lol.

My job got pushed off a week or two so it will be awhile before I hit Wisconsin. The extra time has allowed me to work on some plans for the fall big game season. Ill post details on my upcoming schedule soon.

I put in yesterday for the Florida draw for alligator tags. I wont know the results until the end of the month.

FYI … we still have several spots available for our July/2013 Africa trip. Contact me for details if interested. $2750 hunt fee for 3 animals ( 1x Black Wildebeest , 1x Blesbuck , 1x Springbuck) includes lodging, meals, laundry, daily rate, trophy fees and taxes. (not included … airfare,processing and shipping of trophies). This is a 9 day trip (7 days hunting). Other animals can be added or substituted at a discount rate.

Welcome to Tuesday …

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my sons First Communion. Had family in from 4 different states.

He had a wonderful day and as we all enjoyed the visit. It was good to see all the family.

I am preparing to head north for work. I will be working around the Madison, Wisconsin area. It should prove nice for later this summer, as my wife and kids can come up to visit and we can take them to Wisconsin Dells.
