I hope your Tuesday is going well. I have been busy working on some potential sponsor details, as well as some travel plans / details for a summer trip to Florida. It is starting to look like Adam and myself will be hunting not only Northern Florida, but Southern Florida as well this summer. We are planning on a week long trip to cover both hunts. We will be hog hunting in both locations.

Been a busy day for a Wednesday ... lol. I have been working on some travel plans and confirming dates for our upcoming spring season. Adam and myself begin hunting in a little over a week. we have had to rearrange the schedule a bit to allow for some extra video time. We have to fit in our final shoot for the intro / promo work. Hope to have that available for you all by the end of March beginning of April.
Also working out some more details for our buffalo hunt this winter. It is going to be a good time in South Dakota. We will be hunting mid winter as to assure a nice coat on the hides. It will be a trip to remember with 2 of the most influential role models in my life. My father and my uncle. Both have played big parts in my life. From family values to my outdoors lifestyle.
Be looking for updates as we get all our ducks in a row and proceed with spring turkey season.

Welcome to Monday. Wishing you all the best as we begin the ventures of a new week.
As I sort through the news this morning, I was caught off guard by a story about Military Budget cuts, and the cancellation of Military Fly Overs and Air Shows. This goes far deeper then people think. The Military cancelled major Air Shows on Military Bases almost immediately. Not only does this effect the Military and the general public form the experience, It also effects the local community as well. Think of all the lost revenue to the local communities... Not to mention the experience of attending such an event.
I can remember as a youth, my parents taking me to the Major Air Show in Arizona. The gleam in my eye to see the Pilots in uniform standing beside there shiny flying machines. It made me dream and want to be a Pilot as I grew older. That may have been part of the influence for my decision to join the Military. I can remember meeting Pappy Boyington, a Highly Decorated Military Pilot and the Star of the 1070's show Baa Baa Black Sheep. Boyington has since passed away but my memory has not. I still have his autograph from the day I met him.
Cancelling shows of this extent will have a serious negative impact, in my eyes.
I can go on and on over my beliefs, we know there are problems in our Government. There is only one way to fix it, VOTE. You can call your local representatives as well as email them to express your concerns.

A BIG 'Congrats' goes out to NASCAR Spring Cup Driver Matt Kenseth for winning the Kobalt Tools 400 today in sunny Las Vegas. I was glad to see the weather took a turn for them, after fighting on again off again rain during practice's Friday / Saturday.

I managed to pull the trailer out today and get it washed. It definately needed to be done after the last trip to Kansas in the snow.
Ive got some business to take care of early on this coming week, then its time to hit the road again. Spring turkey season is upon us and I have some hunting to do.

Let me ask you … What does Texas and Nascar have in common ????

The NRA 500 … That’s right, In a late breaking announcement yesterday, the two announced this coming Aprils Race to be Sponsored by the NRA. It will thus be called, the NRA 500.

I do not personally see the problem with this, nor any reason not to allow the NRA to Sponsor. However, some lesser minded people are arguing with Gun Violence in the main stream of the media.

I applaud them both for the support of each others endeavors. However, I also understand a Sponsor is a Sponsor and the show must go on. It takes Sponsors to fund the proceedings that we all so enjoy.

With that, I bid you all a good day and wish you the best. If you must be out travelling today, be safe.

Adam and his group are returning to Illinois today after a few days of hog hunting in Oklahoma. I should have a short video clip to post in the next day or two. Adam was testing the new Midland XTC-350 personal video cam while on his trip.
Its NASCAR Raceday, with racing taking place in Phoenix today, tempers should flare as patience grows thin. Should be a good race for the viewers.
