What a week . Things have been busy for me . Trying to get back in the routine as well as look for another job . Hopefully closer to home than Utah was . Im editing my article and getting ready to forward it on to Heartland Hunters ( www.heartlandhunters.com ) . As well I am making plans for upcoming shows in the area . The FLW Tour is in town the first part of March on Table Rock Lake . I will be at different events in suppot of Mossy Oak as well as a couple other of my sponsors . I just received my contract in the mail and got it signed for Flatline Productions . I will be filming most all of my spring turkey hunts . I have been talking with several production companies and am hoping for a fall release of a spring turkey hunt video .

I myself am hoe again . Sorry I havent posted lately , as I have been travelling and on the road the last couple days . I just returned from the NWTF convention in Nashville . If you have never been , I would suggest you make plans to attend next year . I met alot of folks in the industry , as well as made alot of new friends . Im looking forward to next year aleady .
Hopefully Ill see you there .

Nice weather outside today . Not sure for how long though . Going to warm up tomorow , then give way to rain / snow mix overnite . I however will be in Nashville for the weekend . Looking forward to spending time with friends and checking out new gear for the upcoming season .

We did manage to make a few changes to the website yesterday . Just info updates for now . We will be working on the layout and content within the next couple weeks .

Fresh new week ...

Monday is upon us , not much different than last week .
The weather is a bit cold today with flurries off and on all day . School is in session , for a snow make up day . Wish somebody would have told the government that , atleast the postal service .
I am making and changing travel plans and itenerary for the NWTF convention this weekend .
Should have some changes made soon to the websites as well some new info posted .
On a good note , I have been approached by 'Heartland Hunters' ( www.heartlandhunters.com ) , to write an article for the spring newsletter . It will be brief , include a short bio and some plans for my upcoming spring turkey season . As well , there will be special announcements made in the article for up-n-coming ventures I have decided to proceed with . Look for the article in April .

Hello , wake up Government ...

Is it just me , or have we lost direction ....
Never mind the fact that over 15,000 coalition forces have begun an assault against the Taliban in Afghanistan . We as a whole are overpowered and the significant matter at hand is overwhelmed by the media with insignificant holiday coverage , olympic games , football games , and nascar races .
Ride your ski's , skate on your ice , .... sleep well tonite under the very blanket of freedom that is being provided by those that have been shunn'd and forgotten . I on the other hand , will celebrate those that are away from home and there families . Defending the very honor I raise my head to every day . I have the right , freedom of speech . I have served my time under our Commander and Chief and dealt with matters at hand in a time of crisis . I now proudly cash a check every month for my sacrifice , and never regret or question it .
Sleep well tonite , but before you fall asleep , remember , somewhere tonite , a soldier will close his eyes for the last time , for you .

Good morning everybody ,
The weekend is here and started fairly well yesterday . The weather was warmer sending people outside in search of the bbq equipment . Even though we did see a few flurries , nothing stuck . I sat out back on the deck shooting field mice with my sons .22 cal. pellet gun yesterday afternoon .
The night was filled with excitement as most people took advantage of the television set and watched the opening of the winter games . We chose not to , with all the contrevercy surrounding the death of the young louge athlete .
The NWTF convention is coming up fast . As travel plans and arrangements are being made .
Keep an eye out on the websites for new info , updates , and pictures that should be added soon . Working on a new look for my site on several pages .

Nashville awaits ...

Working on travel plans today for next weeks trip to Nashville and the NWTF Convention . Should prove to be a good time . Alot of local (Missouri) friends are planning on attending . The weekend will go fast . We plan on an arrival Thursday afternoon the 18th and departing the morning of the 21st , Sunday .

Happy Birthday Elizabeth ..!!!..

So today is my youngest's 2nd Birthday . Kind of makes me realize just how old Im getting . lol
Had a pretty good day today . Met with my builder from Vision Log Homes out on the property . Did a partial walk through to get an idea of the building site . We have decided on a basement allowing more room for the kids , toys and growing .
Had a business appointment in Springfield that went pretty good for new upcoming things .
Also , working on a deal for a office/cabin on the archery range property for a nice facility .
The weather has been nice here today with the sun shining and not really much wind .

Extremely cold outside , windchill below zero . Atleast we missed all the snow , however the cold front made it to us . Highs only going to be in the 20's today .
Been busy working on new and existing contract deals . As well as making plans for the NWTF Convention in Nashville . Its only a week and a half away now . Looking forward to attending . Should be alot of fun for the family . My parents will be there as well .

Way to go New Orleans ....
Ok I got that over with . We didnt even watch the game . I had the highlights on my phone the last 10 minutes of play time . I knew New Orleans to be a second quarter team and that was all I needed .
We didnt get the snow the weather had called for . The boy still has school today . No 'yote hunting for him today .
Hoping to have some more updates and info for both the websites soon . Along with more photos . Will be working on the new website soon as well .

Fun , Food , Friends ...

So the evening has come and gona along with the banquet . We all enjoyed ourselves and had a good time . If you dont already , I would suggest you look up your local chapter of the NWTF , the NRA , or even the RMEF . All these organizations are very active in supporting your rights as an outdoorsman and or hunter . They all have various events throughout the year as well as local chapters that plan for your community . Any money rendered goes to a good cause of supporting our rights and the rights of our youth , the future .
We all walked away with some nice items lastnite . My son won a Bass Pro gift card and a hat . My wife walked away with a free dinner for two certificate . I won some framed artwork in the live auction ( painted turkey feathers ) as well as some camping gear in the raffle and a Weatherby 12 gauge shotgun .
Looks like now I need to plan a pheasant hunting trip .... lol .

The family is all home and we are getting ready for the NWTF Banquet in Rogersville , Missouri this evening . Sure to be alot of fun with friends and family . As well as the live and silent auctions and good food .
Ive been busy figuring out the new phone . As we have been working on new contracts with a couple different companies for product support and endorsement .
I should have a new website up within a couple weeks for a camping / hiking / survival stove . Very innovative product . We have several on there way to Haiti and already some on the ground . With the current need , we are working on a military contract to put in place for 2010 on the product . These will be available via internet sales through the website as well as local vendors associated through me . www.thesurvivalstove.com , look for it to be up-n-runnin in the near future .

Spent some time this morning out on the property . Managed to fill 2 feeders today and swap the card on the cam . Seen alot of fresh sign from lastnite . Didnt see anything this morning . I wasnt really out long , tried to get in / out as quick and as quiete as possible .

We have another storm system coming in today/tonite . Going to last through the weekend for the most part . They are calling for freezing rain / snow . Could have up to around 3 inches be the time its done . That was one of the reasons I wanted to fill 2 feeders with corn .

Got a date with the tax man today . We'll see how that all works out . Probably should stand him up and go back to the woods .

Been a long day . Got the new phone in the mail late yesterday . I have spent all day workin with it over the phone via sprint/nextel , as well as drove to springfield to a local store to let them play with it . Its nice to know that I now have access to 3 of my email accounts , as well as facebook , and my website and the internet via the phone . Intimidating , YES , the phone just sits and stares at me , with an attitude I might add .
Hopefully now I will be more 'in touch' as some of my sponsors have stated . Now I am at everyones beckin call , no way to hide , ........... , wait , I think I found the on/off button.......................................

Spring Turkey season is on its way , not only here in Missouri but across the midwest . Hunters are begining to prepare for the up and coming season . I have ordered my Landowner Spring Turkey Permits already and anxiously await the mail .
I have also recently ordered a set of custom arrow wraps from Onestringer Arrow Wraps . www.onestringer.com . They can pretty much put together anything your lookin for in a wrap . I am putting them on my arrows , as well as the archery range , Double-Back Archery , www.double-backarchery.com , is ordering there custom wraps from them .

I had a pretty good day , as I started out on the property filling a feeder and setting up a game cam . I did some walking around and checking tracks . I plan on getting out to do some coyote hunting in the next couple days .
The new shocks arrived for the wifes Tahoe today . I spent the evening in the garage replacing them , only to find other issues that need attention .
Visited with friends and neighbors today . Its good to see everybody again .
Make the best of your time spent with friends and family . Dont assume it was good or ok in there eyes . Make it the best you can , memorable in everybodys eyes for years to come . You never know when it may be your last . Enjoy your time spent .
