Its Friday ….

The Spur Chaser Crew is head’n south to Florida today. We will be hunting alligator with Central Florida Trophy Hunts over the weekend.

If you happen to be in the area, be sure to swing by the Cocoa Beach Pier this evening to visit for awhile. We will also be stopping in at the Bass Pro in Orlando tomorrow on Saturday.

It would be good to meet some of you while were in the area.

I hope your week has gone well, as we are fast approaching the weekend.

Be looking for the Spur Chaser Crew in Cocoa Beach tomorrow, as we arrive in Florida for our alligator hunt this weekend. We’ll be hanging out at the Cocoa Beach Pier for a meet/greet tomorrow evening before hitting the swamp on Saturday.

Our thoughts go out to those in the path of hurricane Isaac.

The storm should play no part in our hunt other than some high water levels.

I spent yesterday in Oklahoma on the Spur Chaser B3 Hunt Camp. Had a bit more preparation to do in relationship to this upcoming fall season.

The Spur Chaser Crew is getting our gear ready and dealing with final details before we head south to Florida this Friday. In search of a couple giant swamp lizards (gators). we’ll be hunting with Central Florida trophy Hunts. Cant wait. Hunting season is about to begin for us.

Way to go to driver Denny Hamlin and his crew for winning Bristol. The NASCAR race was hard with a lot of cautions and bad tempers, as usual for Bristol.

I spent the day in the woods with my two girls checking feeders and cameras as we did a little scouting for the upcoming fall deer season.

Ill be in Oklahoma next week for a day or two as I check the property there.

Good evening all, Its Tuesday …

I have been busy , busy , busy … I've been trying to tie up loose ends on some of our fall hunts. As well as schedule some others, carrying us out to June of next year. The Spur Chaser Crew has a lot in store for the upcoming show … Spur Chaser TV.

I am busy at work, however I am wrapping it up shortly to return home to get into the hunting mode. Ill be making a fast trip to Ohio tomorrow, returning to Indiana for a day or two. Then on home to Missouri. Ill be travelling to Oklahoma next week to check feeders / trail cams / mineral sites. Need to do a little scouting as well while I am there. The Spur Chaser’s B3 Hunt Camp is shaping up well and has a lot to offer. All fair chase, from whitetail to turkey and hogs included.

Ill be posting pictures from the trail cameras over the next week or two. I have to pull the cards on the Missouri property as well.

I hope your week is going well thus far. Today was opening day of deer season in the south. Im sure a lot of you were either in the woods, or planning on partaking this weekend. ‘Good Luck’ either way.

I have added another fair chase hog hunting date to the books for our Oklahoma land and the Spur Chaser Camp. March 1st / 2nd / 3rd for this hunt. Price is $750 per hunter, no license required, no limit on hogs. Contact me for more info/booking.

Quick update on some Fall Hunt Specials we are running this week only. Book between now and August 19th to receive a 20% price break on all our Fall Whitetail Deer Hunts.

I was busy yesterday working on the property here in Missouri in preparation for the upcoming fall archery season. I had to relocate a couple stands, rejuvenate some mineral sites, fill the feeders and hang some cameras.

Pretty much the same thing I did last week over in Oklahoma on the hunting land there.

We should have some good pic’s to post here in the next few weeks.

Jamie and myself are busy working on a spring hunt schedule for us, as well as scheduling some hog and turkey hunts for the Spur Chaser Oklahoma hunt camp. We should have some definite dates / details lined out by the end of the day.

As of now, it looks like our spring turkey season will take us to Missouri , Oklahoma and Kansas. Hoping to add 1 or 2 more states before season openers.

Be looking for updates as we add a couple 3 day hog hunts to the schedule in Oklahoma. These will be Friday / Saturday / Sunday hunts. Strictly for hogs. No tags are required for hog hunting during off seasons. Pricing will be set at $750 per hunter (discounts apply – Groups/Veterans/Masons). Contact me for info/booking.

Early Archery 10/22 – 10/26     $1450

Rifle Rut 11/26 – 11/30     $2250

Post Rut Archery 12/10 – 12/14     $1750

These are all Fair Chase hunts, Non-Resident Tags are $280 over the counter

2 Deer (1xBuck/1xDoe)

Drop camp style hunt (Tents,fire pit,bonfire,grill,privy,camp shower,etc.)

Stands / Feeders / Blinds already set and available

Local hotels are available if you would prefer to stay in town (responsible for your own transportation to/from camp)

$250 Deposit due to hold your spot (remainder of balance due 10 days prior to arrival)

Local Butcher / Taxidermist available

Freezer available for cold storage of game

I have been busy confirming hunt dates/adding new ones.

I spent the day in Oklahoma yesterday over on the Spur Chaser hunting grounds. Managed to hang a couple cameras, as well as start a few new mineral sites. I did see several deer, and a lot of sign.

Everything should be in order to start offering hunts later this fall.

Looks like the Spur Chaser Crew will be heading to central Georgia in November for a black bear hunt. Another great opportunity for us.
