Good evening all and Happy Holiday , take the time to 'Thank' a Vet this weekend . Somewhere , sometime , blood was spilled for us to enjoy our freedom and life as we know it . As well , our troops continue today to defend our freedom and a cause . There will be no BBQ's for those abroad this weekend , nor will there be time spent with family and friends . Take the time to think of the one's paying the due's for us to enjoy . For those fallin comrades ... RIP brothers , you are not forgotten .

Good evening all , I hope everyone has had a good week thus far . We have made it through 'hump day' , and now we are on the downhill slope for the week .
I have been busy working on upcoming articles . One for 'Heartland Hunters' , as well as a product review for Rutwear . Ill post links and info as available .
I am still working in Illinois for a few more weeks . My family is here visiting this week to spend the holiday weekend with me . I am fortunate to have my oldest daughter with us visiting for awhile .

Saturday has arrived and nearly passed already . Today was my last day of work for the week , however ... with only one day off life is busy . Ive been busy workin and dealing with personal issues this past week . Im also working on my summer article for 'Heartland Hunters' . Ill post a link and more info on it as I get the details . WOOT WOOT >>!!.. We made it through 'Humpday' . Three more days left to my work week . Hopefully everyone is having a good week , and planning on making the most of your weekend . Im still working in Illinois . Busy making plans for the upcoming fall hunting season , as well as arrangements for my guide job with Wapiti Creek in Washington state .

I had a thought today and wanted to remind everyone , for those planning on heading out west to hunt big game this fall , make sure you check with the state you are travelling to . Alot of states have deadlines for tags and applications . DONT FORGET ... some states still offer tags 'over the counter' for out of state hunters . Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend ... I did the one day I was off .

Good morning to all , I hope everyone is enoying the weekendand havin' good times . Thats what spring is all about . 'Good times' with friends and family . Work has been steady for me in Illinois . Working six days a week . As usual though , I still find time for myself , my friends , and my family . Remember , nothing is ever just 'going' to happen , you have to make it happen . Good morning everyone , I didnt realize it had been a few days since my last post . The weather here in Illinois has taken a turn downhill . Very windy , cool , and damp out . We hae had rain the last couple of nights . I was hoping to maybe get some fish'n in this weekend if the weather breaks .
Work is goin good . This will be my last long weekend for probably around 2 months . I should be finished up here the begining of July . Then Im planning on spending the summer at home with my family before heading to Washington state to guide for the fall hunting season . www.wapiticreekoutfitters.com

Monday is done , the week has started . Let's just grin/bear it , get it over with , and enjoy the upcoming weekend . I had a good evening yesterday . We fished a tournament in the afternoon till dusk . Caught 5 bass , 1 catfish , and 3 bluegill . Limit or the tournament was 3 keepers . We weighed in 3 nice fish and came in 3rd overall . Didnt get the 'Big fish' , but there is always next time . Had a good time , thats all that matters .

Got to visit with my wife and kids yesterday this morning . We are headin down to Roanoke , Illinois this morning for my nephews first communion . Then its back up north to Essex , Illinois for a fishin tournament this afternoon at the South Wilmington Sportsmens Club .
Tomorow starts a new week . Ill be working a few days this week at the Mobil refinery . Everybody enjoy the rest of your weekend . Make it the best it can be .
