I have recently teamed up with Ranch Manager Mike Strickland of Sand Rock Hills Hunting in Oklahoma. Not only am I helping promote the high fence and exotic hunts that they offer ( www.sandrockhillshunting.com ) , we have secured over 2000+ acres of fair chase hunting land. Spring food plots , with the weather taking a turn for the better now is the time to start preparing. Consider the game species you are trying to target and what you can offer them that is not already available in abundance. Remember to take into consideration your hunting style . Rather it be archery or rifle , stand or blind. Deer paths and trails as well as movement based on bedding and feeding areas. A mineral sight never hurts to add , close to a water source if available.
