Hey everybody , I hope everyone is having a good week to date .

Sorry I haven't made a post in a couple few days . I was out of town on my hog hunt with Dakel Hog Hunts . We had an enjoyable time with the exception of the weather and the lack of hogs . On the first day we ended up having severe thunderstorms followed by high heat and humidity the following day . We didn’t see a lot of sign and certainly none fresh . They did have a couple feeders filled , and even the feeders weren't getting hit . We tried some spot / stalk as well as hunting the blinds and over the feeders . We even tried night hunting with lights . No success no matter what we tried .

I plan on returning for another hunt later in the year . After the weather turns cooler and some of the foliage and forage is gone . Until then , I am working on plans to hog hunt in Oklahoma for a couple days . As well as finishing details for fall big game season .
