Quick update on recent ventures …

Missouri Youth Whitetail weekend was a Bust. We seen a few deer early Saturday and jumped a couple later on in the day. Never had a shot for the boys. Winter weather rolled in last night convincing the boys to pass on hunting today.

We left Missouri early today for the trip home, only to be forced to settle in to a hotel in southern Illinois. High winds and blowing snow forced the closure of the Interstate. We are camping out in a hotel for the evening hoping for the best tomorrow.

I will not be attending the ATA this year as I chose the Youth Hunt instead. Who knows … Maybe I will make Vegas for the SHOT Show.
