Good evening all , Had a pretty busy day today . The wife is at drill this weekend for the National Guard so I am at home with the kids . Nice to enjoy some time with them . I started the day by heading to the taxidermist with my turkey's and coyote . After working with the taxidermist and taking care of that , me and my youngest headed out to our property to set up the blind for my sons hunt tomorrow . I had a good area in mind where the birds seem to travel on a regular basis . We set the blind up and stored our stools and decoys for the night . Tomorrow we shall see how my judgement pays off . It will be my sons first time behind the gun during youth spring turkey season . If things go south tomorrow , at least he can hunt the regular season with me . We will also have an opportunity for 3 generations to be in the blind together this year for turkey season . My father will be here later in the month in his attempt to take a 'thunder chicken' . This will be my dad's first bird as well . An exciting season for me to be part of . Season has started across alot of the country and alot of friends have put birds down .
