Happy Birthday!!!

Today is my oldest daughters birthday . She is having some friends over for a celebration party and sleep over tonight . We are getting everything ready for her now while she is in school . My wife took a Birthday Cookie cake to her class at the school this morning so they could celebrate there as well .

I took advantage of the morning to go hang out in my stand . No movement at all . Didn’t see 1 deer . I did see a lot of fresh sign though . With the recent rains , the change in the weather pattern and the full moon that just passed , it is extremely hard to try and pattern the deer . It doesn’t help that our acorns are dropping too . The deer really have no reason to travel a lot right now .

I took advantage of my time in the woods and scoped out a new tree to place my climber for rifle week . I should be able to get high enough in the tree to have a view of both hill sides and the trail running down off the ridgeline . All are high traffic areas for deer on my property to and from bedding areas .

I did reset the date/time so we will have an accurate account of movement now .

after speaking with friends , I believe we are looking at a November 1st release date for the upcoming news on the Spur Chaser venture .

I do however have some other exciting news to be released shortly on a couple new cooperative deals we have been working on . Ill keep you posted .
