Not such a good start to the morning today .

I got up early and headed out to sit one of my tree stands on the property . when I arrived it was still dark thirty as I slipped down the lane and back into the woods . As I approached the creek bed , I heard a deer blow , then another , and then another . Deer scattered everywhere as I happened upon them in the dark . Needless to say , I never made it to my stand . After a few minutes and the woods started to settle , I quietly eased back out the way I came and headed for the house . I didn’t want to disturb the deer anymore . Its best just to leave them be . Ill try again this afternoon .

I'm getting ready to head out to the local Wal-Mart for the Bone Collector event . Ill be working the event on behalf of Mossy Oak . I met a lot of nice people yesterday evening while I was there .
